This Friday (31), Acer announced the SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo Camera, a camera specially developed for 3D content creators. The device is an addition to the company’s portfolio for the SpatialLabs product line, which already has notebooks and 3D monitors that do not require the use of glasses.

The SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo Camera was created for professionals and enthusiasts who want to take their image capture a step further. The camera allows you to capture stereoscopic images with depth, which increases immersion in photos and videos.

The product is resistant, light and fits in your pocket, measuring 104 x 65.4 x 23.2 mm, and weighing just 220 grams.

Regarding its main features, the camera has 8 MP resolution per eye, an integrated selfie system, automatic focus (or by touch) and electronic image stabilization (EIS).

It also has an automatic capture mode, which helps less experienced users, as well as a manual mode, useful for professionals.

Photos, videos and 3D streaming

Acer’s SpatialLabs 3D line has been offering notebooks and monitors with three-dimensional images since last year. These devices stand out for using a camera above the screen that simulates stereoscopic scenes, eliminating the need for 3D glasses. The feature works with photos, videos and even games.

The SpatialLabs Eyes Stereo Camera is a product that completes Acer’s team of 3D devices, and goes beyond photos and videos. This is because the camera also has real-time 3D streaming capabilities.

Through SpatialLabs Player 3.0, it is possible to stream videos with three-dimensional depth on YouTube and other platforms. You can even make video calls using the same technology via Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, for example.
