Dell launched, this Tuesday (18), the new Alienware m16 R2, XPS 13 and Inspiron notebooks for the Brazilian market. The models arrive with different proposals, delivering competent technical sheets for productivity or games anywhere.

The announcements are led by the review of the Dell XPS 13, an ultra-compact model equipped with an Intel Core Ultra processor, followed by the Alienware m16 R2 gaming model, also with Intel Core Ultra and a robust body to optimize ventilation. In the Inpiron family, the day’s premieres include the Inspiron 14, the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 and the Inspiron 16 Plus.

Even though they deliver different structures, all models seek to meet the needs of the most demanding public. Below, check out Dell’s news for Brazil:

XPS 13

The XPS 13 joins the XPS 16 by offering a more compact alternative, but without losing in performance. The model is sold in two options: one with a 13.4-inch screen in 3K resolution (2880x1800p), 60 Hz frequency, in OLED and with touch support, and another with 13.4 inches in Full HD+ (1920x1200p) in OLED, frequency up to 120 Hz and without touch.

Inside, the XPS 13 incorporates the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H (16 cores, going up to 4.8 GHz), 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, combined with 512 GB or 1 TB of PCIe M.2 SSD storage. Graphics processing is handled by Intel Arc, so there is no focus on real-time rendering for games.

The body of the XPS 13 is in Platinum (silver), there are 4 speakers, two Thunderbolt 4 (type-C) inputs, ABNT2 standard keyboard, Full HD webcam and 55 Whr battery, promising up to 18 hours of autonomy in the model Full HD+.

Alienware m16 R2

Catering to the gaming public, Dell brought the Alienware m16 R2 to Brazil. The company mentions that the model “maintains the robust construction of the previous generation”, featuring anodized aluminum on the lid and back of the computer, as well as an AlienFX RGB backlit keyboard with per-key customization.

The Alienware m16 R2 is sold with the Intel Core Ultra 9 185H (16 cores and up to 5.10 GHz) or the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, combined with 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR5 RAM. Storage is available in a single option: 1 TB PCIe M.2 SSD. The GPU is an 8GB Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 or an 8GB GeForce RTX 4070.

On the outside, there is a 16-inch screen in Quad HD+ resolution, up to 240 Hz frequency and 3 ms response time. External audio is provided by stereo speakers and there are a variety of USB ports, 2 of which are Type-A in USB 3.2 Gen 1, two USB-C, HDMI 2.0 and a headphone jack.

Finishing off the set, the body is constructed in Alienware’s “Legend industrial design language” and Dark Metalic Moon color. The keyboard is ABNT-2 and the battery has 90 Whr capacity.

Dell Inspiron

Of all, the Dell Inspiron family is the most diverse. The Inspion 14 is available in a conventional or hybrid version (2 in 1). Both are sold with Intel Core 7 150U (10 cores, up to 5.4 GHz) or Intel Core 5 120U processors, combined with 8 GB or 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and 512 GB or 1 TB PCIe M.2 SSD storage. On the outside, there is a 14″ Full HD+ (1920x1200p) screen, with touch in the hybrid version.

Then, there is the Inspiron 16 Plus, this one beefier than the previous models, with Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage and a dedicated GPU GeForce RTX 4050 or RTX 4060. Like the The name suggests, the screen is 16 inches Quad HD+ (2560x1600p) with 120 Hz frequency.

Price and availability

The new XPS 13 are available in Brazilian retail starting this Tuesday, according to Dell. The model starts at R$9,900. The Dell Inspiron family will arrive in the country in July and no price has been revealed. Finally, the Alienware M16 R2 is available on Dell’s official website starting at R$12,699.00.
