The Galaxy Buds 3 line headphones may have a very different design from the current model. A recent discovery indicates that they may have stems that extend vertically, like several other headphone models from competing manufacturers.

The staff of Android Authorityin partnership with the AssembleDebug, analyzed the Samsung Members app code and found that the software mentions sensors for pinch gestures. The lines do not make it clear whether the sensors will be present in both models, Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro, or in just one of them.

The references include images of the headphones and mention command gestures. It is possible to see the design with rods, which would be used precisely to house the new resource. This can favor the implementation of new functions, as well as increasing the battery.

It is worth remembering that several headphones from other brands have a similar look, precisely to offer commands using pinch gestures or swiping movements.

It is possible that an evolution of Samsung headphones will require this design change. The South Korean company could maintain touch controls or just opt for the new approach. Regarding the commands, they generally follow a standard, but brands also tend to offer customization via the app.

What to expect from the Galaxy Buds 3 line

Another detail in the images is that at the base of the rods there are red and blue LEDs, which is in line with old rumors.

Other leaks mention that both variants of the headphones will have 24-bit, 96 kHz audio and IP57 certification, for protection against water and dust. The Buds 3 Pro should have a battery for 30 hours of playback, up to 6 hours with ANC on (only through the headphones).
