Galaxy Buds 3 will look like Apple’s AirPods, images show

The new Galaxy Buds 3 could look very similar to Apple’s AirPods, show rendered images released by South Korean retailer Coupang (via @TEQHNIKACROSS, on X). O pair of wireless headphones would adopt a structure similar to the Apple modelbut with differences in design and a distinct silver color.

A Visual renewal is remarkable for Samsung’s family of TWS headphones. Until now, the brand’s accessories had a rounded, more discreet and compact look, fitting into the ear almost invisibly.

In this new style, the Galaxy Buds 3 would have rods to improve fixation in the ears, possibly also providing more space for inserting internal components — battery and larger audio drivers, for example. However, the style is almost “patented” by Apple’s AirPods, which have adopted this structure for generations.

From the renderings, it is possible to see that the Galaxy Buds 3 will have thinner edges, probably a way to differentiate them from the competitor’s more rounded look. A Silver color will also help to distinguish the accessory from other headphones on the market.

As rods can also be used to increase the usability of the modelproviding more possibilities for gestures (pinch with your fingers, for example).

Previously released rumors suggest that Samsung is working on two models, the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. Although they have different proposals in terms of price and features, both will have a structure with stems. For now, it is not known what strategy the company will adopt to differentiate the products.

There is no forecast for the launch of the Galaxy Buds 3, for now. A Samsung usually presents new headphones alongside more important launchessuch as cell phones and tablets, during Unpacked events.
