O Galaxy RingSamsung’s smart ring, remains a mystery in terms of the price to be charged by the manufacturer. However, a new report points to a possible launch price for the device in the European market.

The information comes from a post by user billbil-kun, from the website Dealabs. According to him, the Galaxy Ring will cost 449 euros in France — or approximately R$2.6 thousand in direct currency conversion and without taking into account any taxes.

Previous speculation suggested the device would cost slightly less in the United States and India, but prices may vary by region.

Rivals like the Oura Ring currently start at US$ 299 (or R$ 1,600) — not counting the monthly subscription to enable the device’s main health and wellness monitoring functions.

According to the source, the smart ring will be made available initially in nine finger circumference sizes and three different colors.

Sales are now starting on July 19thjust over a week after Samsung officially announced this information. The company expects to sell up to 400,000 units of the device at launch.

Galaxy Unpacked is coming soon

Originally presented in January this year by the manufacturer, the Galaxy Ring should be one of the highlights of the next Galaxy UnpackedSamsung’s conference that serves as the stage for the presentation of the brand’s launches for the coming months.

The event is scheduled for this Wednesday, July 10, and will take place in the city of Paris, France. The presentation begins at 10 am (Brasília time) with coverage by TecMundo on the website and YouTube channel.
