The JBL Go 4 arrived in Brazil, JBL announced on Monday (10). This is the newest model in the company’s ultraportable line, offering sound quality, waterproof and dust-resistant body and longer battery life.

The JBL Go 4 promises up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge of battery, 850 mAh, and up to two more hours with Playtime Boost mode.

One of the main improvements of the JBL Go 4 is its support for Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy (LE) connection. The new connectivity standard consumes less energy when transferring data, thus increasing the device’s autonomy, but without requiring a significant improvement in battery capacity.

The body of the JBL Go 4 also features changes: the characteristic speaker handle has been redesigned to make travel easier and there are more colors. Additionally, JBL claims that the device’s fabric and packaging are environmentally friendly and the speaker grille is constructed from post-consumer plastic.

JBL Go 4 connectivity and price

The new speaker still offers support for Auracast, a tool that allows you to connect two models to play simultaneously in stereo sound. Additionally, there is an equalization system, allowing you to adjust the sound according to the user’s preferences.

Following the proposal of the Go line, the JBL Go 4 has an IP67 rating (waterproof and dust resistant). Thus, the device can be used in more contexts, without so much concern about its durability.

The JBL Go 4 is now available for sale on the official JBL website for R$319. The speaker is sold in black, blue and white.
