Samsung reveals Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 design by mistake

New details about design do Galaxy Z Flip 6 e do Galaxy Z Fold 6 were accidentally released by Samsung this Wednesday (5), according to reports from Reddit users. The leak is in a promotional image published on the official page of big tech in Kazakhstan.

The material containing photos of the brand’s next generation of foldables indicates that the new version of the Z Fold features a look inspired by the Galaxy S24 series. The sides are straight, the screen has thin edges, the camera module has three lenses and there is a speaker at the top with a similar shape to the S24 Ultra.

Already the new generation of Z Flip appears to adopt the same design as the current model, basically, with the dual camera module in the highest part of the back and sensor rings in the same color as the smartphone. Just below is the 3.4-inch external screen.

The image, which was deleted minutes later by the company, also reveals the presence of Galaxy AI in the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, although it is not known whether there will be exclusive features for them. Both cell phones must have the Android 14 running under One UI 6.1.1.

When will Samsung’s new generation of foldables debut?

In the material mistakenly released by the South Korean giant there is no mention of the devices’ technical data. Although, rumors suggest that both will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage.

There is also speculation about the adoption of a minor crease in both versions and the increase in the battery capacity of the Z Flip 6, probably reaching 4,000 mAh. Both models must have Android updates guaranteed for seven years, the same period for security updates.

Regarding the launch, the new Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 should be presented at next Galaxy Unpacked eventscheduled to take place in July, with a date not yet confirmed by Samsung.
