The Samsung Galaxy Ring was finally presented in detail this Wednesday (10). The smart ring from the South Korean manufacturer is designed to accompany the user constantly, with titanium construction and up to seven days of battery life.

Similar to other solutions on the market, The Galaxy Ring is a robust health monitoring tool. It works directly with the Samsung Health app, delivering accurate information about sleep quality and respiratory and heart rates — all with the support of artificial intelligence from Galaxy AI.

The ring can also serve as a support for tracking the menstrual cycle. The accessory tracks the user’s cycle, recording useful information such as skin temperature during the night.

The new Galaxy Ring has already had its details revealed at “Galaxy Unpacked 2024”

Every day, Samsung Health will deliver insights into the user’s health based on monitoring from the Galaxy Ring. The data collected by the ring feeds into the new “Energy Score,” a metric designed to show how your personal health is impacting your daily routine.

O Galaxy Ring is available in 9 sizes, ranging from size 5 to 13. Insideit is equipped with 8 MB of memory and accelerometer, PPG and thermometer sensors.

The accessory’s connectivity is via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.4. The accessory is made of grade 5 titanium and is water resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM).

What is the price and availability of the new Galaxy Ring?

Samsung began pre-sales of the Galaxy Ring on Wednesday (10) in selected markets. The ring will officially hit retail on July 24 this year.

The accessory It is sold at the suggested price of US$ 399 (R$ 2,150, in direct conversion). There is no exact forecast for the launch in Brazil, but Ring will arrive in 2024.
