This platform is fully regulated and specifically designed for institutional clients. With this, the German stock exchange is taking an important step in the acceptance and integration of digital assets within the regular financial markets.

A few weeks ago the news filtered through to the crypto media. Its subsidiary Crypto Finance plays a key role in the new trading platform.

Deutsche Boerse owns the Frankfurt Exchange and the Deutsche Börse Xetra digital exchange and with this new step they are expanding their services. BaFin’s licensing of Crypto Finance follows previous approvals and rejections for prominent crypto sector players such as Binance and Deutsche Bank, and highlights Germany’s strategic and regulated approach to the crypto industry.
