Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 specifications leaked in promotional materials

Once again, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldables have had information leaked ahead of their launch. This time, the tipster Evan Blass exposed the promotional pages of the new cell phones with details of features and structural changes.

Samsung’s promotional material doesn’t show all the new features, but it does preview some of the features and changes in the new generation of foldables.

One of the highlights is the cameras: the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is expected to feature a 50MP main lensaccompanied by a 12 MP ultrawide. Until now, Samsung’s compact foldable was equipped with cameras of up to 12 MP.

The Galaxy Z Flip 6’s battery has also received improvements, the sales material shows. The component must now have up to 4,000 mAh battery and Samsung promises up to 20 hours of internet browsing (via Wi-Fi), 23 hours of video playback or up to 68 hours with music on a single charge.

Evan Blass showed that there are no significant changes in the displays. The internal screen should be 6.7″ and the external 3.4″. Inside, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 12 GB of RAM.

As for the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the changes are also discreet: the internal screen should be 7.6″ and the external 6.3″, both with straighter corners, following the visual pattern of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

According to the material, the Z Fold 6 will be 14g lighter than its predecessorbeing 1.4 mm shorter in height, 1 mm wider and up to 1.3 mm thinner when folded. The sides are still made of aluminum.

O Galaxy Z Fold 6 should have three rear cameras: 50 MP main, 12 MP ultrawide and a 10 MP for 3x optical zoom. Inside, it will probably ship the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 e 12 GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be unveiled at Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for July 10 this year. The event is also expected to feature the new Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch 7.

Now that the promotional material has been leaked, the only thing left is the price disclosure and expected arrival in national retail. Fortunately, all of this should be clarified at the formal launch of the devices.
